Description
An original fuzz circuit paying tribute to classic Tonebender circuits.
The Wedge covers a lot of ground as a fuzz as something of a hybrid between a Fuzz Face and a Muff type circuit.
It offers more sustain and gain than a traditional Fuzz Face, but not quite the wall of sound of a Muff (but retains more of the traditional character of a Bender style fuzz).
X Control: Fuzz
Y Control: High Cut
Internal Controls:
Tight Switch: cuts bass to reduce "flubby-ness" inherent in some fuzz pedals.
Anger: Fine tunes gain control, so you can keep it in a sweet range of adjustment for your own use on the top X control.
Bias: Allows adjustment of fuzz's voice
BONUS:
The Wedge features a full size "tin can" BC108 transistor in the first gain stage where it has the most effect on the tone
